Physical contact between any participant and any other person during the course of this trip is to be limited only to consensual non-sexualized touch. There will be zero tolerance for non-consensual touch of any kind.

9. Participants will not go into a hotel room to which they are not assigned. Visitors are not allowed in participant hotel rooms.

10. Social media, including but not limited to emails, social networking sites and any public website, must be used responsibly at all times. Posts that slander, marginalize or otherwise bully other teens, staff, volunteers, speakers/guests, activities or touring sites will not be tolerated.

11. Harassment or bullying in any form, will not be tolerated.

Toward a Successful Summer:  The friendships and shared experiences that participants cherish, long after their summer in Israel will be beneficial to all. In order for the Dallas Israel Teen Tour to succeed, we ask participants to:

  •  Be open and ready to participate in new experiences.
  • Treat every person in the group, and anyone else you encounter, with dignity and respect.
  • Respect your fellow participants, their privacy, and personal property.
  • Always use language that shows that you care about yourself and others and speaks to the kind of person you are and want to be.
  • Care for every member of your summer community and help one another meet the challenges of this journey.
  • Use good judgement.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas will do everything that we can, to the best of our ability, to ensure that our participants have a wonderful opportunity to explore their Jewish identity, while having a summer adventure filled with great fun and friendship.

Breach of the Code of Conduct is grounds for disciplinary action, including early dismissal from the program at personal expense. Dallas Israel Teen Tour staff, in consultation with Federation leadership, will be empowered to handle disciplinary matters, i.e., sending teens home.
